TAPAS ~ Tapas are a must wherever you may be in Spain.

1. Bar Las Golondrinas:  c/ Antillano Campos, 26 Barrio de Triana - Sevilla

  • Make sure to try the "champinons" and the "calabaza"

2. El Rinconcillo

  • Our personal favorite was the "ternera".  Just beware, this place is a little pricey and a little touristy. BUT it is also known as the OLDEST tapas bar in Spain and is said to have created the TAPA.

3. Egana Oriza - This is a pricey place, but if you go to their tapas bar which is connected to the restaurant you will be able to try all of their main courses as tapas.  They have all of the traditional tapas with a twist.  Make sure to try their "queso de cabra" and their "cordero kebabs".

HELADO ~ On those hot summer days, ice cream is a MUST!

1. Rayas - There are a couple locations around Sevilla just make sure you bring your apetite because you will want to try every flavor.

2. Mascarpone - This is a great place to sit and enjoy your helado outside of the cafe.  We also suggest you try their different tostados for breakfast.

3. Heladeria Artesana La Fiorentina - On Calle Zaragoza, this place is a must! They have a great selection and they have a nice area to sit outside.

Night Out - Whether you want to go out till the sun rises or you just want a cool bar to hang out in, you should make a stop at each of these.

Bars

  • Big Ben and Fundacion are both in Triana and have great prices for drinks.  However, the majority of these bars also cater to the tourists, so if you want to speak English for the night this is the place to go.
  • El Rio Grande is also in Triana right off of Plaza de Cuba but if you go after 8:30 you will be able to sit on the river and have a few drinks with some locals.
  • If you are looking to meet a couple of locals or just test out your Spanish skills try any of the bars in Alemeda.

Discotecas

  • Buddha Bar is a great night out just make sure to go on a nice night so that you can sit on their outside terrace.  There are three levels, all with different music and different vibes.  If you want to sit outside, there are couches and table and beautiful views.  If you don't want to wait in line to get in then make sure to get there before 3 am, but if you do don't expect anybody to show up until at least 4.
  • Catedral is a little smaller and more intimate than Buddha Bar, but it is always a good time.  If you plan it out right, girls get free drinks on certain nights, otherwise your bar tab and get pretty pricey.  Go to Catedral on Wed. and Fri., and Buddha on Thurs. and Sat.
